The Facebook group UK Cloud Magnets was formed by Mick Scott to encompass a wide range of people who have an interest in Astronomy and Astrophotography.
It is a very friendly group of enthusiasts who always welcome new members that wish to learn anything from basic skills right up to very complex Astronomical Photography. You may be an observer or an accomplished astrophotographer with years of experience or just at the very beginning of your adventure into this wonderful hobby, this group will not judge you but try and offer as much advice as you need or can handle at the time. You will find very generous people that will give huge chunks of their time and sometimes their equipment to help you. We have all had to start from very basic beginnings so you should not be disheartened or put off by what may seem very unfamiliar terms and complex things, as you progress you will find they become the norm. The group provides huge levels of information and files to help you learn as you go at your pace. It is a place where you can show and be proud of your images without fear of unwanted criticism. It is a good group to start you on your journey into the wonders of our universe whether you are a casual observer or ardent photographer.
