Mick Scott aka Daddy Mick

UK Cloud Magnets has been built from the ground up, the group was created on the 18th October 2018 and has gone from strength to strength and just seems to get better and better by the day.

Running the group all on my own would not be possible and I found this out in the very early days.

I soon realised that I needed help, lots of help!

I now have a very strong team of Admins & Moderators that help run the group, which, if not for their help and dedication most of what we do in UK Cloud Magnets would not be possible.

These guys and girls are not just Admins & Mods, they are what I regard as fantastic trustworthy friends that I have 100% faith in helping to run UK Cloud Magnets.

I would like to thank them all for everything they do and I welcome you to find out more about them as the UK Cloud Magnets Team

Since that time my interest developed as I read every book I could find in the local library.

I got my own first telescope when I lived in a small village in Kent and could enjoy the pitch-dark skies,,,

As a child from a lower-class family I soon developed a craving for how things worked and would regularly take my toys and anything I could get my hands on apart to see how it worked.

I must admit I haven’t changed and still do this currently to great satisfaction and success, sometimes;

The thing I struggle with is,,,

Hi I’m Mike and I have been married for 38 years to Gill. I have my own tipper truck carrying quarry materials mostly in Devon and Somerset.

I remember as a young child laying on a deck chair in my nan’s garden at night looking at the stars and the Moon.

I used to use her Binoculars, I had no idea what I was looking,,,
